No-Cost Mental Health Teletherapy

High school students can access virtual mental health services via live video sessions, at no cost to families. FCPS has partnered with Hazel Health to offer the therapy sessions.

Teachers for Tomorrow Students Intern in FCPS Schools

Edison Academy has nineteen Teachers for Tomorrow students who are taking part in internships in 9 different elementary, middle, or high schools this spring. We are proud of these young people and thankful to their cooperating teachers for sponsoring them for this valuable work-based learning experience.

Third Quarter 2022-23 Academy Awards

Congratulations to our students who were recognized by their teachers for the Third Quarter of the 2022-23 School Year.

2023 Culinary Arts Chopped Competitions

Edison Academy Culinary Arts students participate in the school-based 2023 Chopped style competitions over three days just prior to spring break. Challenged with mystery ingredients for day 1-appetizer, day 2-entree, and day 3-dessert creations students teams had to incorporate elements of creativity, presentation, taste, and use of all ingredients into each item they prepared.

School Board Sends Letter to FCPS Community About Court Ruling Involving Thomas Jefferson High School

In a letter to the FCPS community, the School Board says a recent court ruling "confirms that we are moving in the right direction." The court ruled in favor of the School Board in a case challenging changes to the admissions policy for Thomas Jefferson High School.

Fairfax County School Board Adopts FY 2024 Budget With Focus on Student Achievement

The School Board unanimously voted to adopt Fairfax County Public Schools’ (FCPS) Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Approved Budget . The budget focuses on closing the achievement gap for all students, and maintaining a world-class public school division by recruiting and retaining outstanding educators.
