Ms. Williford is the Career Experience Specialist for the Edison Academy. She earned a Bachelor of Science from East Carolina University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management.

In her role as Career Experience Specialist, she promotes Academy programs to the business community seeking to gain connections that lead to career experience opportunities for students. Career Experiences may include internships, job shadowing, industry tours, field trips, guest speakers, participating in professional conferences, career fairs, and taking part in special events. All of which allow students to network and attain knowledge to pursue and advance their career opportunities upon high school graduation.

Ms. Williford also collaborates with business and community leaders to provide career development programs for students such as resume writing, job interview, and other activities focused on developing workplace readiness skills. Ms. Williford offers career assessment and career coaching services to the academy students and maintains the academy's website and contributes to social media for the academy. 

Ms. Williford is a former adjunct instructor for student development at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) and serves as a Dual Enrollment liaison for Edison Academy student's and their families. She, along with the Academy Counselor, advises students and families on the dual enrollment application process.
