Another Great Visit with Retired FBI Executive Assistant Director Stephen Laycock
Each year, Mr. Stephen Laycock, now retired Executive Assistant Director of the Intelligence Branch of the FBI, visits with our Criminal Justice students to share more about the Federal Bureau of Investigation. This year his talk was focused on career development sharing with students the path his career took from starting in a forensic lab with the FBI, to becoming an agent, serving on SWAT teams, and leading up to his final position. Students learned about training agents go through at the Academy at Quantico, challenges of the job, establishing work-life balance in a career where a work day can be 12-15 hours long. Thank you Stephen Laycock for your time and the background information you share every year with our students!
