Cosmetology Students Excel at State Board Exams

Congratulations to our students who passed their Theory and/or Practical Exams. Those who pass both Theory and Practicals become licensed to work as beginning professionals in their career field. Students Win Scholarships with Foundation for Applied Technical Education

Congratulations to our students who have been awarded scholarships from the Foundation of Applied Technical Education. Daniel C.V., Robin V., and Abdullah H. were all recognized with $1000 Tool Scholarships. John "Ryan" N. also received an Apprentice scholarship of $2500 sponsored by Integrity Real Estate to be used towards advanced education at his chosen school/apprenticeship training program.

HVAC-R Students Pass EPA Exams 2022

The Edison High School Academy program for Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) prepares students for successful employment in the workforce and offers them the opportunity to sit for rigorous Environmental Protection Agency’s EPA exams. These exams provide students with a very important credential to offer employers who are seeking to hire and train HVAC Technicians for their workforce. Five Teachers for Tomorrow students took and passed their ParaPro certifications. See their names in the full blog! The ParaPro Assessment is for prospective and practicing paraprofessionals. It measures skills and knowledge in reading, math and writing and the ability to apply those skills and knowledge to assist in classroom instruction.
