There are multiple way to show your support for Edison Academy's programs, teacher and students. 

A. Auto/Vehicle Donations

Edison Academy accepts late model vehicles for both instructional purposes and for the Student Auto Sales (SAS) program. Student Auto Sales, sponsored by the Foundation for Applied Technical Education (FATE), refurbishes used vehicles for sale to the public. Proceeds benefit student competitions, scholarships, and the Automotive Technology and Automotive Collision Services programs. 

      Requirements for vehicle donations: 

• Most recent title and keys must be provided 
• Vehicle must be delivered to the Edison Academy.
• Drop offs are not permitted, appointments are required to make a donation.

B. SkillsUSA Competition Support/Cash Donations

Students who compete in the SkillsUSA competitions at the regional, state and national levels need your support to help pay for their competition expenses (travel, lodging, meals, special tools required, and uniforms). You can make your tax-deductible donation to Edison Academy SkillsUSA today. Mail or drop off your donation at the Edison Academy Main office to help our young people experience these outstanding leadership and career development opportunities. C. Supply and Equipment Donations to Academy Programs

Our Career and Technical Education programs accept a variety of donations of consumables and equipment. Most donations should be given through the FCPS portal https://www.fcps.edu/get-involved/business-and-community-partnerships/donate-fcps but some donations are able to be accepted directly. If you are interested in making an supply or equipment donation directly, please contact the Academy's program instructor directly via email found in the Staff Directory.  

• Information Technology Programs -  Hardware and software donations for this program must be made via the FCPS donations portal. Please visit https://www.fcps.edu/get-involved/business-and-community-partnerships/donate-fcps to submit information for your donation to be considered. 

D. Teacher Appreciation Support

Show your support for our teachers and staff members!  We cannot accept cash donations but we are able to accept gift cards which may be distributed during teacher appreciation week and each quarter to the Staff Member of the Quarter.
