Congratulations, Dr. Ketchledge!

Our Academy Administrator, Whitney Ketchledge, very recently successfully defended her dissertation and was awarded a Ph.D. in Occupational and Technical Studies from Old Dominion University. Her research focus was on career academies and specialized programs. The dissertation was titled “Factors Influencing Student Enrollment in Career Academy Programs”. The study explored the reasons students indicated for enrolling or not enrolling in available career academy programs within one school division. A native of the Tidewater area of Virginia, Dr. Ketchledge joined the Edison faculty in 2017.
