Criminal Justice Students Meet With FBI Guest Virtually
Executive Assistant Director of the Intelligence Branch of the FBI
Mr. Stephen Laycock, a native of northern Virginia and graduate of Fairfax County Public Schools, is the Executive Assistant Director of the Intelligence Branch of the FBI. Thank you to him for taking time out of his work to visit with us virtually.
My. Laycock shared a little history of the FBI and its founding in 1908, the size and footprint of the FBI today, what diverse skills the FBI is looking for from applicants, what backgrounds or college majors they hire from, the process applicants go through to be accepted to serve in the FBI, the type of work FBI agents perform for our country, and recommendations to students to help them prepare for a future serving their country and community.
Criminal Justice students may view the video of Mr. Laycock's visit in their Schoology Criminal Justice class for great details about the FBI.
