Electrical Construction Contestants Sweep District Competitions

Edison Academy Electrical Construction & Engineering (ECE) students went head to head with Arlington Career Center electrical students in the District SkillsUSA electrical contests on Friday, March 4, 2022 each team hoping to claim victory and the opportunity to represent the northern Virginia region at the state SkillsUSA Leadership Conference April 8-9 in Virginia Beach, VA.  

Edison Academy students swept the competitions claiming all five of the Top 5 and 7 of the Top 10 rankings.

The winner of the day's competitions was Edison Academy ECE level 3 student Sergio Cuxum Calel from Justice High School. 

Congratulations to the Edison Academy students and to their competitors from Arlington Career Center who took up this year's challenge.
