Fairfax County High School students are invited to attend the 2019 Fairfax County Teen Job Fairs and Resume Building Workshops. First jobs are important and these events help connect teens and employers face to face and prepare our youth for the workforce.

These events will focus on student job seekers (approximate age, 16 to 18) who are looking for full-time employment, after-school employment, seasonal positions, internship opportunities, or volunteer experiences or who want tips to build their resume. Volunteer opportunities and resume building workshops will also be available for younger middle school students looking to begin to build their resume. We ask that students click here to register.

Businesses and organizations have the opportunity to showcase their companies and advertise the positions they have available.  There is no cost to participate. Businesses and organizations seeking to secure space at the job fair should click here to fill out the application form.

During our previous job fairs, over 2000 Fairfax County teenagers and 120 employers attended have participated in the Fairfax County Teen Job Fair events with satisfying results for both employers and youth.

Thank you to our sponsors, Supervisor Pat Herrity, Connection Newspapers, Fairfax County Government, and Fairfax County Public Schools.  The date for the remaining 2019 Job Fair is:

Saturday, April 27th     10 am – 12 pm     Mount Vernon High School

Co-sponsored by Supervisor Dan Storck, Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce , and Mount Vernon High School

Students should click here to register to attend.  Businesses may click here to register for a free booth space.
