On Saturday, December 8, 2018,  Edison Academy Culinary Arts students hosted a Gingerbread workshop for local youth and their families to help them create gingerbread houses to take home for the holidays. The event served as a fundraiser for the Culinary Arts program as well as a collection point for canned goods for the local charity, Coinonia. Culinary Students baked the gingerbread, assembled the walls and roofs of the houses, and provided all the icing and candies for families to enjoy the fun of decorating their house.
