Two Edison Academy students received a $1200 scholarship from the Rotary Club of Springfield, VA at the annual scholarship luncheon the Culinary Arts Bistro at Edison Academy. Veterinary Science Student, Kelby, will study at Virginia Tech, while Cyber IT student, Andrew, will study at the University of Virginia. Edison Academy had very excellent candidates this year which made the work of the scholarship selection committee extremely difficult. Kudos also to the Culinary Arts students who prepared the buffet for the Rotarians and their guests from Garfield Elementary School.
