Fairfax County Public Schools supports student opportunities to volunteer in the community in order to be well-rounded, community and global citizens.

Job shadowing and work based learning such as internships, youth apprenticeship, guest speakers, and industry tours are all part of the career experiences that take place outside of the school walls. Many opportunities have been suspended due to COVID but many have moved to virtual opportunities.

Community members can dine in our bistro and have their pets groomed by our students. Note: All services are on hold in 2020-21 due to the COVID -19 pandemic.
