Spotlight on Edison Academy DIY Hero, SpEd Support Teacher, Adam Wells! 

We are proud of our creative and talented Academy SpEd Support Teacher, Adam Wells!  In his spare time Adam takes salvaged materials and creates awesome sculptures, unique art, and original built projects! Adam supports our Automotive Technology, Automotive Collison, and Veterinary Science programs here at Edison Academy. He is also the Edison High School Varsity Baseball Coach.

Adam was recently chosen as a contestant in the 2022 DIY Hero Competitions that celebrates makers, crafters, builders, and life hackers. The contest is hosted by TV host, Mark Bowe known for the Magnolia network program, Barnwood Builders. His lifestyle company, Barnwood Living, is this year's sponsor for the contest.  DIY Hero is also partnering with the American Lung Association for the contest. Their goal is to defeating lung cancer, improve the quality of life for those living with lung disease, championing clean air and tobacco free futures for all.  Voting for contestants, like Adam Wells, is free but impact donations may be made that contribute to the American Lung Association.
